From starting the year off with new retailers (like Home Depot and Target) to being recognized as a leading growing company in our region, 2015 has been a year of major growth for Mr Beams.
Crain’s Cleveland Business highlights this in their recent article Mr. Beams is brightening prospects of local biz.
“The popularity of Mr. Beams, a top seller on Amazon since 2012, has spurred growth of 40% a year or more… Its leaders anticipate another big jump next year due to rising international sales and the release of the company’s products at Home Depot and Target,” the author writes.
Mr Beams was also recognized as one of Crain’s 52 Fastest Growing Companies in 2016, placing 9th on the list.
Being able to reach more people means we’re able to spread our message of safety and security: two main pillars of what our products stand for.
“The thing we’re doing is improving safety and security – that’s what gets us going," said David Levine, president of Wireless Environment. "We have people constantly telling us we save them from falling down the stairs with our night light, or they feel better because of our security lights,” according to the Crain’s article.
Levine also discusses the growing problem of “Mr Beams knockoffs” and what the company is doing to combat it, including fighting to remove third-party sellers who are selling the knockoffs from Amazon.
