The news today from Southern California was that 1.4 million are without power and that power may not be fully restored until the end of the week. The power company is still not sure what caused the outage but thinks it originated in Arizona. The Mr Beams Power Outage Lighting System was designed to provide light for an extended period of time during a power outage.
The battery powered lights turned on when an outage is detected can stay on for up to 40 hours on one set of batteries.
