Electricians and handymen looking for a simple solution to lighting dark closets, lighting dark bathrooms, lighting dark attics, lighting dark yards and lighting dark garages may want to consider a Mr Beams battery powered LED luminaire. The Mr Beams battery powered LED lights are easy to install bright LED lights, are IP44 rated for weather protection, have motion or remote control options available and have long battery life.
There are several advantages to installing a battery powered light fixture:
1. They can be mounted anywhere. The LED light, batteries and controls are all within one housing.
2. They are controlled by motion sensors or remote controls and are powered by the batteries inside the light fixture. There is no need to run additional wiring to a wall switch to control or power the light.
3. The Mr Beams LED lights are weatherproof. They are a solid solution to an outdoor lighting or bathroom lighting problem.
4. They do not generate much heat. An LED light will generate a small amount of heat but because the LED is a very efficient light source is not nearly like an incandescent. They are good for additional closet lighting and attic lighting.
For an installation where the area is unfinished, like new construction or an unfinished area, a battery powered luminaire probably is not the best choice but when the area is finished or it may be difficult to wire in a new light fixture and some lighting needs to be added, a battery powered luminaire may be a good solution.
